Weave blocks culling themselves with partial blocks, no longer transparent from inside

Version 1.21.1-5.6.0
Mirror, false, sky, and ghostweave now become completely transparent on one side if a partial block is beside it, as seen here. This was working in an earlier version, so I assume some rendering changes altered it.
Additionally, when passing through falseweave you could see through the block to what's on the other side. Now however if you step into the block, you're greeted by this taking up your whole view:
