Cannot switch book spells while handing enchanter sword [1.18.2]

While I held spellbook in offhand and enchanter's sword in main hand, none of book hotkeys work (cycle, select, edit spell).
This is strange because it works with another items in main hand. Gameplay wise, this causes a lot of troubles, so please fix this.
Same with bow. Please fix this gamebreaking issue - it already killed me several times!
