If I have spellbook in main hand and block in off-hand then on right-click both events triggered: cast from spellbook (Break) and placement of block. May be it's intended but there is a better and convenient spell for block replacement.

Yea, agree. This is especially annoying with doors and fence gates, but I like the block swapping thing
