A config option to remove any trinket from loot tables and the Mimic's drops would let players and pack makers tweak the selection to their desires.
Frankly, I was surprised that there wasn't one already.

I know it sucks, but for now you'll have to do this with a datapack. I'm personally against having two ways of modifying loot tables (datapack and mod config). It's not trivial to implement and possible conflicts with datapacks make this problem even more complex.

I'd prefer to simply add a config option to force-disable the effects using the config. This means you would still be able to find them but only as fun cosmetics.
