Currently belts react to items by the item colliding with the belt. It should be that the belt moves the item while it is above it. This will cause more lag/load but will result in a more fluid movement of items. It is suggest that an option be added to config this to be passive or active. Passive being the current way. As well maybe just changing this for slanted belts will be in order to fix the slanted belt rocket item glitch.
