Wearing a Vicio mantle and having the Spectral Wings perk unlocked while in spectator mode still makes the starlight charge bar drain. This causes the player to fall into the void when the charge runs out.

Though i couldn't reproduce this, spectators won't lose charge anymore, similar to creative mode.
