Currently, it seems like Starmetal ore conversion only seems to work with the vanilla iron ore. Emendatus Enigmatica adds variants of iron ore and none of these work for the creation of Starmetal, nor can you get vanilla iron ore without getting into something that lets you recreate ore blocks (like Mekanism's combiner).
