Discidia ritual doesn't work after dimension hopping

Bug: Fully empowered Discidia ritual retains ritual animation, but doesn't work to kill mobs if I've dimension hopped. Please note that the ritual was NOT chunkloaded when I was dimension hopping.

Expected behavior: The ritual continues to work once I'm back in the ritual dimension.

Additional Information:

There is no ritual anchor over the ritual.
The ritual is powered by 3 perfect discidia collector crystals
The ritual is fully accelerated by 5 lenses
The AS version is 1.8.5 (the latest as of now)
The modpack is direwolf20 1.12 v1.8.0

The pack does have a method to load chunks via ftbutils or chickenchunks still in it, correct? Just not in use?

Your missing my point. I don't care if the ritual doesn't run when chunk loaded. I care that when it's again chunk loaded (I teleport back to near the ritual), the ritual animation is active but the ritual itself isn't working. I have to break the ritual pedestal and place it back for it to work again. Of course, it also means I need to adjust the lenses again for accelerating it - quickly gets painful. Answer the question. I wasn't saying "Why don't you chunkload this?", I wanted confirmation your pack had methods that could chunkload, because there's something I'm running down on my side, and HF also has some suspicions, and it's easier to run testing if there's no guesswork involved.

I can confirm this bug. Pack Direwolf20_1.8.0 for 1.12
The description in bug report 560 closed as a duplicate better describes the problem.
The problem isn't that just rituals cease working it is that all crystals stop properly collecting/using starlight after changing dimensions OR exiting the world to the title screen. A complete close of minecraft and restarting minecraft client solves the problem. As modded take 5+ minutes to start this is not a valid option for every time you change a dimension!

Same here (both rituals with changing dimensions thing and Collector Crystal not providing any star light to crafting altar), but i don't have Chicken chunks in my pack. (I do have FTB utils tho.)
