Ritual Pedestal multi block Extent?

The Ritual Pedestal says it has a 9x9x2 multiblock, but it seems to quit working if any block impinges on a different and larger sized space.

The space that the Ritual Pedestal actual monitors appears to be 7x7x4 -- any blocks placed within that extent prevent the Ritual Pedestal from functioning.

Please review this inconsistency and update the Ritual Pedestal multiblock extent or the Astral Tome multiblock description to show the actual extent.

Secondarily, please consider ignoring any blocks that don't actually block light, such as transparent blocks(glass) and even perhaps half-slabs, etc.

There is no inconsistency. The physical structure size is 9x9x2. This is so people can cleanly build the structure, which is what that dimension list designates.

The 4 block "height" you reference has to do with where beams have to be placed when empowered. The outer rim is where lenses are built up to reflect those beams.

Excepting the infusion altar multiblock, AS requires sky sight in every other structure, which does support glass, water, etc. Truly transparent blocks, not slabs (which aren't transparent annbkock light), can be above these structures and not impede their function.

If there is a modded glass that doesnt do this, open a ticket on that mod's git because their glass is coded incorrectly for transparency.

Did you notice the last screenshot, with the dirt arch directly over the width of the Ritual Altar at y+3, including directly over the center, yet the Ritual Altar functions? How does that jibe with your AS structures require "sky sight" requirement? Seems far more like a clear space bounding box than sky sight...

It would be great if it actually was JUST sky sight above the central block, but it's not.

There's no light ring at the altar base, and no rays from the anchor. Doesnt look active to me.

The visual effects seem weird and misleading. Here are the Ritual Altar and the two linked Ritual Anchors (with the blocking Dirt arch) ... notice the green animations implying growth at both ends. But there is no "Regen Buff" in effect, so the Ritual Altar is not actually not working.

Now, if I take away the Dirt arch, nothing changes on either end (still no light ring effect or rays either) but now the Regen buff appears at the linked destination Ritual Anchor.

I think the Ritual Altar & Ritual Anchor are in need of a Test Suite World all by itself. Not to even mention the other broken dimension use issues I already ran into.
