Constellation paper not giving constellations

Direwolf20 1.13 mod pack v 2.4.0
When I pick up new constellation paper I do not discover one
In JEI all the constellations paper are blank there’s nothing here
If I cheat in one I sometimes get a constellation but the paper doesn’t update neither does my knowledge
When I give myself a scroll of expertise I do gain all constellations but the first one listed is gelu
Forgot to mention I’m on a mac
