Hey, I really like to have mods updated to the latest version, so if you could add an update checker provided by Forge it would be useful :)

An in-game message alert? Those are obnoxious, and if your mod manager doesn't alert you to mod updates, there is always the release and changelog channels on the discord if you are looking for something less "personal effort intensive".
