Cannot view recipes or craft/use machines/components.

Cannot view any recipe or use machines. I tried to use the fission reactor and it works, but every component of the mod cannot be crafted in survival.

That is really strange as most of the recipes have been confirmed by others to work. Only a few were found to no support vanilla resources. Such as the processing machines due to missing motor or electronic circuits. However, base on your mods most of the recipes should load with the Thermal Expansion or other backup recipes.
As for the render issue, someone else has noted this and I have yet to figure out the cause. It seems to only affect the slot renders and not the tank + energy bar. Which is really strange since they all render the same way. For there to be two sets means either two sets of slots or double render calls.
I will do some testing adding more and more mods to see if I can find the cause for the missing recipes. For the rendering issue I guess I'll have to wait :)
If and when I find the cause for the recipe problem I will reply here.
EDIT: With the following modest the render problem is solved. The recipe problem is still unsolved.

Nada. Even with only Atomic-Science-1.12.2-3.0.6b13.jar and jei_1.12.2-4.11.0.212.jar I can't view recipes. Honestly don't really know what to do. Not a big problem though, I'm only running an experimental modpack. We'll see maybe if future versions of the mod change anything...
Now that I think about this someone reported an issue like this for ICBM-Classic as well. Wonder if its just an issue with JEI not wanting to show them but the recipes existing. Will see if I can get you a list of all the recipes to try.
