Currently paths do not have a side texture, which makes them immediately obious even on the first path level when used in combination with the Lambda Better Grass Mod.

The mod offers and API to easily enable other blocks to fit in, which would be nice to include here:

Will this also be available in 1.17 or only 1.18?

As far as I search the upgrade to 1.18 will need a little bit of extra work. So I think I'll add this in 1.17 before upgrading the mod to 1.18

Nice to hear. I need it in 1.17.1 still and many new mods only receive feature updates for 1.18 anymore.
