In some mod packs, items are not given a tag or are missing a tag. Potentially, there could be something like the prevent folder for adding tags to an item.

E.G. A pickaxe is only marked as tools but should have the extra tag of pickaxes, then adding your item into a file with content telling what tags should be on the item.

If implemented, this will likely also allow you to edit the tags given to certain items.
