Just a suggestion, as I love this mod - but it only uses Vanilla daggers. I have a few other metals in my game, and I use another mod to add daggers and then this mod to give those daggers properties. However, now I have 2 different iron, gold, diamond etc. 1 from this mod, and 1 from another, and they have different stats and tooltips.

My suggestion would be to add a config to this mod for disabling the provided daggers that some with this mod, that way we can avoid having double-ups of vanilla daggers. Alternatively, if you ever add support for modded metals like Steel, Electrum, etc. That would be awesome as well! But either fix would be fine!
