Hey, I really dunno what's going on here but I crash with 2.2.0 in my modpack. Downgrading fixes it.

Try turning off enable_remove_redundant_fov_calculations.

Sorry I completely missed this comment. I don't even remember what I did since I opened this issue (I don't think it was what you suggested) but I'm on 2.2.0 now and it's working fine.
