Crash upon opening mod menu

Describe the Issue
When i press the "Mods" button on the main menu, the game crashes. Only mods enabled are fabric api (0.119.5+1.21.5), Mod Menu (14.0.0-rc.2), and Balm (21.5.3). Latest versions as of posting this, downloaded from within prism launcher. Disabling Balm lets the menu open like normal. Enabling the rest of my modpack (sans the ones with a balm requirement) also avoids the crash.
