Doesn't auto put blocks to hotbar while building

So i was making a high detailed castle and used baritone i got blocks and stuff but when i start it said you should put it to hotbar and i did what it wanted. it started but after while it stopped so i putted new blocks to hotbar. This is just so annoying any solution how it will put blocks to my hotbar automatically?
