How to reproduce

I put a shield in my offhand, went in survival and turned on killaura, then I set the APS to as low as it can go (1.0) and let it kill zombies.
The zombies still do damage even though it blocks before every attack.

I did notice that if I hold down right click myself, even with killaura on, that it blocks just fine.
