Many other auto mining mods are able to mine blocks while having the players view angles differ from what the server sees. Obviously this would clash with many anti cheats

It is clearly possible as shown by nukers from various hack clients (Kami, Forgehax, Impact, Wurst and probably any other client with a nuker). As far as I know the problem in Baritone is that it really clicks on the blocks it mines like you would do it yourself and thus uses the client side rotations. To solve this Baritone would "just" need to use some more "low-level" methods that no longer use the player rotation.

I may be wrong but I think that not looking at the block to place it or mine is impossible without adding something into the game that adds a separate camera, and then just hides the other one while it moves.

ah so instead of sending an "I'm mining this block packet" it literally just clicks the packet
