Please find your latest.log or debug.log in this folder and attach it to the issue

How to reproduce

Add your steps to reproduce the issue/bug experienced here.
I downloaded the baritone-api-fabric-1.6.3.jar and put it in my mods folder for fabric. I then ran it with my mods and ran some basic commands .b, #help etc.. and they didn't work

Modified settings

To get the modified settings run #modified in game

Final checklist

  • I know how to properly use check boxes
  • I have included the version of Minecraft I'm running, baritone's version and forge mods (if used).
  • I have included logs, exceptions and / or steps to reproduce the issue.
  • I have not used any OwO's or UwU's in this issue.

please send a log with the issue in. Also send the full log, this seems to be cut off.

commented

I think that that is the wrong log, after having the issue press f3 + c to make sure that the game crashes.

can you also send debug.log

this only applies to forge, fabric doesn't do anything to this log

commented

oh

commented

and for the latest.log, could you launch the game, go into single player and try some commands, if they don't work close the game and without doing anything else, send the latest.log

commented

oh, sorry, do you have baritone installed, try using the standalone version.

commented

ye isn't the stansalone like not good with other mods tho?

commented

none of your other mods interact with baritone so It doesn't really matter, might aswell try to switch

commented

You're using the API version, standalone commands will not work.

commented

commands should still work? they do for me and I have always used api

commented

No, that has to be implemented by something else which uses the API, such as a utility mod

commented

ye it still didn't work

commented

Fill in the issue template properly with the latest.log while using the standalone version.

try it without any mods in single player, does it still not work?

@L1ving are you sure? no mods and commands still work, my prefix is changed but I don't have any other mods, see this video

commented

I got it to work

I got it to work

What was wrong?

commented

well I thought that the commands for baritone was . and #, then by looking at the vid I saw the it was @, so yeah.....

commented

well my prefix is changed, so that means yours is most likely aswell, you can do @modified to see everything else that has been
changed.

commented

as I've previously stated the only difference with the api version is that the api classes aren't proguard'd

commented

For me ehylo's explanation that one of your clients changed it permanently sounds quite good.
Now you know why the template asks for modified settings.

commented

Why was your prefix changed? It's "#" by default for all versions of Baritone. Did you use something else that might change Baritone's settings in the same profile before experiencing this "bug"?

commented

It's Aristois, it changes the prefix through settings because another thing Aristois has uses # so it changes it to @ when you launch but it remains the prefix without aristois

commented

I meant @bobydon1, because (unless I understood something wrong) the prefix was changed in a setup with nothing interacting with Baritone.

commented

Well thats was my guess for them, as stated here they have used other clients before so I'm assuming one of those was Aristois

commented

im not sure y # didn't work, I never did anything to modify it
