Strip mine while collecting ores

Describe your suggestion
I want to strip mine (tunnel mine) and collect ores meanwhile.
Current oprions are "mine", it does not stripmine, it tries to find ores and mine toward them.
Other option is "tunnel", which does not collect ores.
Settings
This feature could be an option for "mine", maybe something like "mine tunnel iron_ore diamond_ore".
Context
It would make ore finding more natural. Strip mining for ores is one of hte most widespreaded techniques for finding ores.
