I had the same thing happen - It works fine if you have any of the stock allowed items, but if you have modified the list to have for example cobbled deepslate, it'll try to place it but fail.

looks to me like baritone trys to build support blocks but dosnt have any blocks he is allowed to place. what blocks are in your acceptableThrowawayItems list?
