#Edit: I tried it with ancient debris, and it mined it perfectly fine.

How to reproduce

Add your steps to reproduce the issue/bug experienced here.
Join a minecraft server and type #mine magma_block

Even if you are right next to Magma it will not mine the magma.

Modified settings

To get the modified settings run #modified in game
minYLevelWhileMining (integer)

(i tried turning this off, it didn;t change anything)
