Equipping a bauble + death deletes contents of inventory

several times now I have tested this and my inventory did not drop on the ground whenever I died with a bauble equipped. This happens with both Botania Baubles and the sample Bauble in the API. I have not tested this with baubles from Thaumcraft.

This happened to me using 1.7.2 and 1.7.10.

I also remember this happening in a Direwolf20 video where he killed himself with the Bound blade from Blood Magic while wearing a Botania Bauble.

Are you using the most recent version of Baubles? This issue should be fixed already.

Latest version = git compiled. Use this if you can't compile your own.

The latest one from the Baubles thread on MCF works too, I think.

Maybe, haven't tested for that. I'm probably thinking of the "baubles lost on reload" glitch...

You are correct. 1.0.0.16 fixes the issue. I did download that version but I did not place it in the 1.7.10 folder so it downloaded and used the 1.0.013 version instead.
