The new button will only show up after i use the hotkey then when i open and close the inv the button is gone again.
None of my rings or stash or neck work unless i open the baubles inv with the hotkey and remove and place the item ..

Do you have tinkers construct installed? The button dissapearing is a known problem on their side which they will fix.
As for the botania baubles not working unless re-equipped: I think that is a problem on Botania's side. I have had it reported before, but always with botania baubles - TC or other baubles seem to work fine.

Yes it was tinker and for the baubles not working I dunno if it's only Botania .. Since I have no public TC for 1.7.10 to test yet
