Hi,

I've just installed Better Advancements on my personnal modpack and I found an UI issue. The modal background exceeds the modal, image below:

What is is your screen resolution and gui scale?

commented

I'm in fullscreen in 1920x1080 and my gui scale is set to 2. (when I posted, I was in 1.15.1)

I make some further tests (always with the same resolution and gui scale). For all test I updated my game to 1.15.2 and the mod to 0.1.0.96:

  • with forge 31.0.14 and it still here
  • with forge 31.0.16 and it still here
  • with forge 31.0.16 and try to play with default resolution (1024x768) and I have the issue too.

So I think it doesn't depend on the resolution. It can be a conflict with other mods even if it seems improbable?

There is my configs:

I'm getting this same issue. It seems to resolve itself after a minute or two, strangely enough. It consistently presents itself if you check advancements immediately after loading a world.

I had the same problem
Version: BetterAdvancements 1.15.2 -- 0.1.0.96
Do you need me to provide more information?

@sargunv can't see your log any more, also I see quark in your video. Does this happen with just Better Advancements?

Others, is this just Better Advancements or do you have other mods installed? I can't seem to reproduce this in my dev env.

I can confirm with just JEI and BetterAdvancements, the advancement background overlaps.

How I got the bug:
When I first created a world, I gave myself obsidian, I got the advancement so opened the screen and the background was overlapping. I saved the world, reloaded it, immediately checked the advancements and the background was perfect, no overlapping
I gave myself blaze to get the advancement, checked the advancements screen and the background had overlapped

In this instance with only 2 mods it seems to only happen immediately after getting a new advancement. In my mod pack of 100ish mods it happens everytime you enter the advancements screen.

BetterAdvancements-1.15.2-0.1.0.96 and BetterAdvancements-1.15.2-0.1.0.98
jei-1.15.2-6.0.2.12
Forge 31.2.27 (happens on previous forge versions too)
No resource pack
No Optifine

@Meinkraft thanks for that, should help me track down the issue

not sure if this is relevant but sometimes this happens, seems there are different layers overlapping or something

Can someone test and confirm whether it is fixed in 0.1.0.99?

Can confirm that I have the same issue on 1.15.2-forge-31.1.24, BetterAdvancements 0.1.0.96.
Playing on mac, in both fullscreen and windowed, tested on GUI scales 1-4 (others not tested) and auto.
