I've forked the repository and adapted it to work with 1.21.4. I wanted to open a PR but there's no 1.21.4 branch I could target, so I've decided to open this issue to show what I've done and check wether you can consider officialize it. here's the link https://github.com/Farenheith/BetterCombat/tree/1.21.4

Additional context
I couldn't make every line compatible, though. The ones I couldn't I left commented, so, although it's working with 1.21.4, this branch is still a WIP
