Minecraft 1.20.1
Forge 47.4.0
Mod version 1.8.6
I am using the latest version available for this MC version

It's not really a bug, but I don't understand why I can't find any solution for my issue cause I am definitely not the first person in a world to experience this.

Better Combat + First person model = you can't efficiently use two-handed weapons like claymore, because they block half the screen. The reason I settle with bug report here is because it's the idle hands animation issue, if I could somehow change that on Better Combat part it would resolve I think.

It's such an obvious problem, anyone who played with both mods can relate cause you have to simply give up using big weapon models.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Install both mods, have two-handed claymore in active hand and just look at it.

Expected behavior:
Weapon not blocking half scree.

Screenshots or video recordings:
Fov quake pro

Additional context:
I love and adore both mods, they really add up to the immersion of experience, so for me and a lot of other people they are inseparable in many ways, that's why I am looking for a solution. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ pls help

Tryed Malfu's Combat Animation, didn't liked it that much. If could somehow cut two-handed weapons from it, would be awesome, but that doesn't resolve issue for a lot of people, only for me.

Maybe there's an option I don't know about?
I even thought to myself, how would I change that animation, cause it doesn't seem so simple at first. There do you hide this big sword? Not a buttcrack that's for sure.

I've found the other animation for two-handed sword which goes from the hip. How can i adjust something like sword tag or type for Better Combat?

You can create a mod or a datapack that changes it animation, implementation of both methods is shown by the author here

Both mods in question do exactly what they should be doing.

The combination is unfortunate.
