This isn't a bug per se, but still a bit of an annoyance. All layers of snow have a hitbox slightly shorter than they appear, which is just far enough for an item to drop into and be invisible. If I die in a snowy biome, it can be a hassle finding my dropped gear because it's literally invisible. I've had to remove the mod temporarily to find my tools a few times. This applies to all stacked snow layers too, including a "full" block of 8 layers. I actually didn't know that until now, but those look identical to a normal snow block, but are still slightly shorter.

Real snow doesn't just gobble up items you drop into it. I obviously don't expect the author to make mesh deformation, but having at least the top face of the dropped items peek out would be nice.

For what it's worth, in my mod I did fix the snow bug.
