Forge is not installed in the default .minecraft path but in a subfolder inside the root folder. I wanted to divide 1.10.2 mods from 1.11 mods so in the profiles window I used .minecraft/modded/1_10_2/ and the game generated mods, configs, save and all the other folders inside this new path. I don't know if this is the problem but this is what I suspect
