[Bug] Better Foliage is messing with my torches/light sources

At first, I thought it was the resource pack I was using but it seems to only be Better Foliage that is doing it.
When I hold a torch or any light source, it glitches out 95% of the time and if I move with it, another 95% of the time, it doesn't even follow me and it just stays in a certain spot. It seems to be mostly the grass that is messing it up as I turned it off and it does make it slightly better.
When I turn off the mod entirely (in game or outside of it), the torches work fine as do any other light sources. I don't know if it's compatibility issues so I'll list my mods below if I can. (I'm not used to Markdown so I'm giving it my best shot here in a moment)
I also would like to mention that even when I place torches or any other form of light I.E. Glowstone, redstone torches, etc... they also glitch out for the most part. When I go underground into a cave or anything like that, it doesn't seem to mess up as much if at all which was actually the reason I thought it was Better Foliage in the first place.
P.S. I can make a video if that would help more than me just stating it happening.
