Hello! Likely another Foolcraft 3 player/admin with some suggestions. I haven't seen this in your github.

It sounds like there is some issues with Astral Sorcery's underwater sand 'aquamarine' blocks, BetterFoliage, and Optifine. Or even without Optifine. YouTuber Iskall recommended FalseSymmetry to turn BetterFoliage off during a play through video as she wasn't able to see the ore block at all with it on 😭

Second quick minor thing noticed is that trees particularly modded trees with fruit intersect the fruit with your foliage making the texture shimmer. I'm pretty sure that is just as the texture angles chosen are the same - is that a customization by us /changeable by you thing? I might even suggest it just needs to be "45 + DBL_MIN degrees" to fix it potentially.
