Issue description: Joining a world/server then the game crashes.

Steps to reproduce:

Join a SP world / Multiplayer Server
Crash.

Versions:

Minecraft: 1.14.4
Forge: 28.1.107
BetterFoliage: 2.5.0-Forge-1.14.4

The part of the stacktrace referenced by @McJty is just Better Foliage passing on block rendering on its normal way, after deciding it doesn't want to modify that block. I'm not sure how that part could present a problem, but who knows.

@Gbergz can you please try if you can join the same server without Better Foliage installed?

I've already tried and you can join without BetterFoliage installed, yes.

Any updates on this bug? It happens when I place Abstruse Platforms from Botania, or when using the Cart Builder in Create.

i think i have the same bug here. It happens when i place a fence over snow. Setting all shortgrass options to false doesnt fix it.
