Multiplayer crash (Exit Code: -1)

I have dynamic surroundings, inventory tweaks, more player models, orelib and optifine installed for 1.12 along with Better Foliage 2.3.1 and Forgelin 1.8.3
My problem is that every time I attempt to log into a server I would get one frame of gameplay and then immediately crash
the only time this doesnt happen is when Better Foliage and Forgelin arent in the mods folder, what should I do?
Caused by OptiFine. You can clearly see it in the message.
Is there a fix other than removing optifine?
Have you tried with any other game versions? Have you tried using those mods on a local game?
