Texture Problem in Logs

The logs have problems at the top texture.
I'm using various mods, but I tested it using only the Better Foliage and Forge 12.18.2.2099 in Minecraft 1.10.2 and even then the error remained.
I tested with other launchers, other BetterFoliage versions and other forge versions, and again, the error remained. I love this mod and would like to use it in my personal ModPack (only for offline play).

Oh man, a just put the Optifine on the "mods" folder and it work fine, without any problem.
I will not delete this post, because anyone may have the same problem, but anyway, thank you.
but how do you make logs look soooo round? i am trying to make my game as realistic as possible

i know you are using that but my logs are like octagon (8 sided) but yours is like really polygon
Mine is an octagon too, only the inner part of the logs are alternated with the outside. I did not do anything different from what is saying on the BF page.
This is a frustrating bug that I've occasionally seen come up, but I couldn't pinpoint what causes it. The logs in the screenshot are actually octagonal too, but the texture coordinates are messed up, and they look more rounded, with parts of different textures showing up at the edges.
I'll leave this issue open, so I don't forget it.
One of my players is having the same issue. The modpack we are using is here: http://enthusiasticraft.cf/modpack-update-1-5-3/
They are on a fresh install. They do not have OptiFine. As far as I know, none of my other players have this same issue, and I personally have not been able to replicate yet. I even obtained a copy of their options.txt to see if that was the issue, but it appears not to have helped.
Is it possible it's a video card/driver related issue? I can ask my player to give me spec information if you think that'll help.
Edited to add: Installing OptiFine fixed the problem for them as well.
