The spear is pretty broken. Holding right click to aim the spear and throw it makes your own arm disappear off your body but appear in someone else's face on the server. Also attacking with the spear using left click makes you disconnect from the server.

Finally fixed in 1.3.5a. Attacking no longr diconect and throwing animation has been removed.
