Blocks should be mined and dropped

Actual Behaviour
Blocks get mined but reappear right back

  -this is the log on my pc but I'm connecting to a server, that I made, and the server shows the error "Mismatch in destroy block" with the coordinates of the block the should have been destroyed. I currently unable to get the server log, but it just repeats that message when a block gets mined but doesn't actually mine.

This is client/server situation. I have the same version installed on both machines and it "ghost mines" or whatever you call it. It mines the block, but the server doesn't recognize it and replaces the block. This doesn't consume durability of the pickaxe either. Not sure if its other mods that could cause this, they are listed in the log, or if this is just an update issue.
