I just thought of something to add for customization with the music:

Currently the two options for music are to either fade away as soon as you leave a biome, or instantly switch. I was wondering if you could add a config option so that the music keeps playing until it finishes or the player encounters a loading screen, to match the behavior of the vanilla biome music in the nether.
