1.16.5, latest better end reforged

something's wrong with the smelter. I place netherite, and the other type of ingot (I think it was terminite? I smelted it from ores I found), along with fuel, but the furnace will not start smelting. is there something I'm doing wrong?

I could have mistaken the ingots, I'll test again soon
