Mega Lakes not playing nicely with other terrain

I've found a few instances of mega lakes not working properly. With BYG installed, the lakes sometimes undercut other terrain:
Once or twice I've seen lakes without all their flowers:
And finally, a minor thing: lotus pads that intersect with flower stems look strange from beneath.

Hello, thank you for pointing out those, even if i am already aware of most of those issues. Well, the algorithms used for world gen are exactly the same as the original mod, so both share the same problems. Those algorithms are pretty complicated and many things can behave weirdly, and sometimes this is also due to how Minecraft itself works . If you think about it, even vanilla generation often leaves floating grass and trees above water lakes, to name one issue. Not to say that nothing will be improved in the future though. It seems that the author of the original mod is planning to change the islands generation itself, with a better distribution of biomes and general improvements, so i will follow them
