I'm not sure if this is exclusive to the Forge port, but in 1.5.1 of BetterEndForge, bark block crafting recipes for the glowshroom trees as well as the trees found in the End Jungle are unable to be crafted by the normal means as seen with crafting bark from vanilla trees.
