What happened?

When a silk moth hive is faced with just one air gap at the opening with the rest surrounded by blocks. It will keep spawning new moths as the previous spawned ones don't have enough space to turn around to return to the hive.
What I expected to happen, is that the hive would stop spawning moths with silk moths right in front of it. And that the moths should be able to return back to the hive instead of being stuck in just one spot.

This is in the end so the only entities that I'm facing, is the silk moths. It seems the maximum that will spawn there is 7.
