Description

Hey there, while I absolutely love the BetterEnd mod, I've been putting together a pack that is trying to be very close to vanilla in terms of visuals and content, so it was determined to be just a little outside the scope. However, one thing I was always a massive fan of was the infusion table and the functionality for NBT to work in it, and I have found need for that latter function in my efforts to fix the disaster that is enchantments in Minecraft. Because there are no mods for Fabric 1.20 which allow me to easily utilize item NBT I can pretty much only make an inefficient mod (I am not very good at modding) or a very inefficient datapack (I can make the pack just fine but the lag... atrocious)
So, I thought back to my time playing this mod and how the infusion system worked so well, and also looked visually better than pretty much any other crafting method in the game and more than a few mods. That leaves me with a bit of a dilemma.. I could completely gut BetterEnd for parts, leaving the enchantment system but removing all the blocks, biomes, entities, etc, or I could ask for some assistance so I don't feel so bad butchering the mod.
In essence, the standalone would need just the infusion table and pedestals required for it to function, and obviously the underlying functionality of the crafting itself, along with the ability it has for recipes to be added. This would be useful not only for me, but anyone who was interested in a plug and play magic crafting system for pack making! Now, I'm not sure how much of this is from the library and how much is from BE itself as I wanted to ask before sinking hours into it, so if this isn't something feasible for then I was hoping you could at least give me some advice on how to dissect this thing without breaking the table. Let me know what you think!
