Surface Features Generating Underground

What happened?
I encountered Lantern Woods features such as Lucernia trees and Lucernia leaf bushes generating underground in a Lush Smaragdant Cave biome located beneath Lantern Woods biome
The instance pictured was found on seed 2243432604426037236 at coordinates x=1915 z=-448
While it does look rather nice, I was told that the terrain didn't do this before and to report it here.
