Getting an error when joining server.

What happened?
I get the error:
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: Invalid item 'betterend:end_stone_brick_cracked_wall', must be IMaterialItem
when trying to join a friends server. We have all the same mods, so that's not an issue.
