BetterNether biomes are tiny despite increasing size

I increased the vertical and horizontal size but the biomes still spawn really tiny. Not sure what could be causing this. Any ideas?

I've been avoiding this for a while now since, honestly, the noise these use scares the crap out of me. I might end up resolving this by making it use noise that's significantly less cursed internally.

Or turn these into actual biomes rather then fake biomes that mush themselves into orther biomes.

Only mod that is installed that could potentially lead to incompatibilities is NetherCraft.
