What happened?

I was attempting to set up an aquarium on my friend's server and cyan quartz glass looked the best for it. There does appear to be a conflict/issue with viewing it from any direction than straight on though.

As you can see, rather than being contiguous, it seems to not have transparency on the top/bottom of the quartz blocks.

This is a known issue with Sodium. CaffeineMC/sodium-fabric#38

Looks like the last update from the Sodium devs on the matter was July 2022, do you know if it's something they're still working on or if they have put on the backburner? (I predict no, but doesn't hurt to ask)
