What happened?

the player cannot replace betternether:soul_grass with their held block by right clicking the way they can with vanilla minecraft:grass. fluids also cannot destroy soul grass by flowing over it.

in this picture, note how the naturally generated lava flow flows around the soul grass instead of replacing it.
