What happened?

Whispering gourd bugs:

• Destroying whispering gourd vine doesn't drop seeds unless destroyed using shears.
• Destroying whispering gourd vine also doesn't drop whispering gourd block (the only way of obtaining is through shearing).
• Doesn't use shears durability.
• Doesn't play shearing sounds when sheared.
• Shearing will change whatever the vine shape tag to shape:bottom.
• Whispering gourd arguably grows too fast.

Features:

• Whispering gourd should be able to be crafted to seeds (just like pumpkins)
• Whispering gourd should be able to be carved with shear (carved variant just like pumpkin)

I think using shears is useful for farming whispering gourd without destroying the vines, especially if it can be automated with redstone. But using hands to destroy the vines to get the seeds/block should be necessary as well.
